Who we are

Almeera is a wardrobe intelligence service operated by Gagan Labs. For any question about this policy or your data, write to privacy@thealmeera.com.

What we collect

Your email address, when you join the waitlist. That is the only thing we collect today.

Photographs of your clothing and the details our AI derives from them — garment type, colour, fabric and similar attributes — once the app launches and you choose to upload them.

Basic technical information such as your IP address and the time of your submission, recorded automatically by our hosting provider.

Why we collect it

Your email is used solely to tell you when Almeera opens access, and to send occasional product updates. We send no other marketing, and every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

Wardrobe photos exist for one purpose: identifying your garments so the app can build outfits from them. They are not used to train models for other customers without your explicit, separate consent.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not sell or license your photographs. We do not share your details with advertisers or data brokers.

Who else touches your data

We use a small number of service providers to run Almeera — currently Netlify, which hosts this site and processes waitlist submissions on our behalf. These providers may store data outside your country. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails are kept until Almeera launches and you have either signed up or told us you are no longer interested, and in any case no longer than 24 months. Wardrobe photos and derived data are kept while your account is active, and deleted when you delete the item or close your account.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop us processing it. You can withdraw consent at any time. In India these rights sit under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023; in the UK and EU under the UK GDPR and GDPR.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your personal data.

Children

Almeera is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page, and where the change is significant we will email people on the waitlist rather than rely on you noticing.
